This document is to be read alongside the Website Compliance Statement & Legal Notices. Before purchasing any merchandise from our Shopify store, please read this notice carefully. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these terms, and understand and accept our privacy policy.

Seller Identity & Contact Information

All merchandise is sold by Baker Strategy Ltd (Company Registration: 15950556) trading as Fighting for a Free Future, registered office: The Old Studio, High Street, West Wycombe, HP14 3AB. VAT number: GB 477056173 VAT. For all order queries, contact: commerce@stevebaker.info or +44 (0)20 3980 8064.

Fulfilment & Production

Orders are manufactured and shipped by Printful, our third-party fulfilment partner. However, your purchase contract is with Baker Strategy Ltd, not Printful or Shopify. We remain responsible for all customer service, returns, refunds, and statutory consumer rights compliance.

Your Consumer Rights (UK/EU)

QUALITY & DESCRIPTION: All goods must be of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If your order arrives defective, damaged, misprinted, or incorrectly fulfilled, contact us immediately at commerce@stevebaker.info or +44 (0)20 3980 8064.

14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD: You have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receipt and return them for a full refund. However, personalized/custom-made items, such as those found in our merchandise shop, may be exempt from this right under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

SHORT-TERM RIGHT TO REJECT: For faulty or misdescribed goods, you have 30 days from delivery to reject the item and claim a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Returns, Refunds, & Liability

DEFECTIVE/DAMAGED ITEMS: If you receive defective, damaged, or incorrect merchandise, email us within 30 days of delivery with photos and description.

“Delivery” means the date on which our records, tracking information, or courier confirmation state the item was delivered to your provided address. In the event of a dispute regarding delivery or eligibility for return, we may request supporting information (such as order confirmations, tracking screenshots, or other delivery evidence) to resolve the matter fairly.

We may arrange a free replacement or full refund, subject to Printful, our fulfillment partner, accepting the request. You do not need to return the defective item unless specifically requested. We will process all approved refunds within 14 days of accepting your return, as required by UK consumer law.

BUYER’S REMORSE/SIZE ERRORS: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013, you generally have the right to cancel orders within 14 days of receipt and receive a full refund. All of the products in our merchandise shop are produced using a print-on-demand model through our fulfilment partner Printful. Items are created only after your order is placed and are therefore not held in stock.

Please note that our fulfillment partner Printful considers all print-on-demand items as made-to-order and reserves the right to refuse returns under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. We reserve the right to apply the made-to-order/personalisation exemption where legally applicable. Any returns we do accept for change of mind or sizing errors may result in additional fees to cover production and handling costs. Please check all details carefully before ordering.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any breach of contract, negligence, or other cause shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We exclude liability for any indirect, consequential, or special damages including loss of profits, business, revenue, or anticipated savings. Any claims must be brought within 12 months of the issue first becoming apparent to you.

Important Warnings & Disclosures

MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS: Most merchandise is printed on demand after your order. This means longer processing times (typically 2-7 business days) before shipping begins. Delivery estimates begin from production completion, not order date.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: For orders outside the UK, you may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, and local handling charges. These are not included in our pricing and are your responsibility.

PRICE TRANSPARENCY: All prices displayed include UK VAT where applicable. No hidden charges. Total costs including shipping are shown before payment confirmation.

PAYMENT SECURITY: Payments are processed securely via Shopify. We do not store your payment card details.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION: For complaints, contact commerce@stevebaker.info or +44 (0)20 3980 8064. If we cannot resolve your complaint internally, you have access to the following dispute resolution options:

UK Consumers:

– Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline: 0808 223 1133 (free advice and can refer to Trading Standards)

– Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): We will provide details of an appropriate certified ADR provider for your complaint type. ADR is typically free for consumers

– Trading Standards: Contact via Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline who will refer serious matters

EU Consumers:

– Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

Nothing in this section affects your statutory right to bring legal proceedings before the courts of your country of residence. Consumers in the UK/EU retain full access to local courts under applicable consumer protection law. This policy and any contracts for the sale of goods through our store are governed by the laws of England and Wales, but you retain the right to bring claims or disputes in the courts of your habitual residence as provided by applicable consumer law.

DATA PROTECTION: Your personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Compliance Policy. Order information is shared with Printful solely for fulfillment purposes.

FAIR TRADING COMMITMENT: We comply with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, including prohibitions on fake reviews, drip pricing, and unfair subscription practices.

PRODUCT SAFETY: All merchandise meets applicable safety standards. For EU orders, Printful as manufacturer ensures compliance with General Product Safety Regulation requirements.

Delivery and Risk Transfer

Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided. “Delivery” means the date on which tracking shows the item was delivered, left at the specified address, or collected from a delivery point you selected.

LOST AND DAMAGE IN TRANSIT: We remain responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping until successful delivery. If tracking shows non-delivery or damage in transit, contact us within 7 days for replacement or refund.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: For orders outside the UK, you assume responsibility for customs clearance, duties, taxes, and any local handling charges. We are not liable for delays, additional costs, or confiscation by customs authorities. Risk transfers to you once the item enters your destination country’s postal/customs system.

UNDELIVERABLE ITEMS: If items are returned to sender due to incorrect addresses, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect, you will be charged for reshipping costs or offered a refund minus original shipping costs.

CARRIER LIABILITY: While Printful handles physical shipping, your contract remains with Baker Strategy Ltd. We will pursue claims with carriers on your behalf but cannot guarantee successful recovery for lost international shipments.
